The Best Way To Make Money Online

If you ask this question to ten super successful Internet marketing gurus, you’ll probably get ten different answers.  Interestingly enough, none are wrong, and each are making a boatload of money.  In short, you’re going to need to make a choice that works best for you.

I am not trying to confuse you, so let me delve deeper into this.  Let’s say you wanted to be an attorney (this is just an analogy, so don’t go changing your profession) and let’s say you were wondering what’s the best way to make money in law.  So the same thing holds true here… if you asked ten super successful attorneys, they will probably tell you that their area of law is the best way to make money.  Why?  Because the field of law is so broad that individual preference plays a big part.  In law you have corporate, real estate, criminal, divorce, immigration, and the list goes on and on.  The same holds true with Internet marketing.  There are people making money with every aspect of Internet marketing, so it is important to make a decision and get started.

Internet marketing is quite broad, and therefore it can be overwhelming to make a choice.  I suggest you take a look at what is out there, and if it excites you then get started.  You may very well find that you want to try more than one area of Internet marketing, and that is fine – just so long as you stick with any one method long enough to make a go of it.  It is easy to get started and become discouraged (because success does not come overnight), and it can be very enticing to move to another Internet marketing technique or method.  Don’t let this happen to you!  It is important not to jump around because your likelihood of success diminishes significantly.  I’ve been through it… learn from my mistakes.

The best way to make money online may be different for each of us.  I have observed that many of the Internet marketing gurus have dabbled in several areas of Internet marketing, each area earning them income.  Yet each guru seems to have settled into a single area of expertise – and many of them teach their area of expertise via an assortment of online and offline products as well as mentoring and coaching.

Why not take a closer look at the different roads you can take.  Consider that each involves a differing degree of time, money, resources, offline efforts, and learning curve.  Some Internet marketing paths to consider are affiliate marketing, cost per action (CPA) marketing, pay per click (PPC) , article marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), digital product development, training products, tele-seminars, webinars, ecourses, ebooks, private label rights (PLR), eBay, membership sites, sales letters, squeeze pages, domain sales, and domain parking – to name just a few.  What I just provided is a partial list of methods to drive traffic as well as products to sell.  In most situations you will need a combination of at least one product and at least one method to drive traffic.  To make the big bucks you’ll also want to be sure to build a database.  More on that another time.

Don’t let the massive amount of information overwhelm you.  Just get an idea of the paths available to you, learn a bit about it, and make a choice.  Get started.  Don’t forget to post your questions.
